Tagger tumble
Re “Slips happen, but taggers are rarely hurt,” June 24
Have we learned nothing from the tragic case of the young man who fractured his spine in a tagging accident? How many have to be seriously injured before we do something?
Let’s circle the wagons and set up a Tag Safe Task Force. Let’s install safety netting over our freeways. Let’s issue a statewide bond so that we can raise money to buy any would-be tagger a state-of-the-art safety harness.
We can solve the problem of tagging injuries if we just put our minds to it.
