Brewers fans may be ticked off about this
It’s a grand time to be a Milwaukee Brewers fan, especially since they’re in the playoffs for the first time since 1982 -- two years before Prince Fielder was born.
Who knows how long the wild-card Brewers will last in the playoffs, but they’re going to have to be pretty good to reach the World Series as the 1982 club did.
Meantime, the Brewers are only too happy to help their fans gear up for the postseason.
At the team’s online gift shop, a Brewers wild-card baseball cap runs $22.99, a wild-card T-shirt $24.99. A wild-card gold coin is $19.99.
Sorry, the Fielder bobblehead is out of stock, but there are three types of clocks available, including a diamond-shaped one for $29.99.
That’s so Brewers fans can keep track of how much time their team has left.
