Update: Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena on Friday added another veteran to his roster, acquiring defender Gregg Berhalter, 35. Berhalter played for Arena on the U.S. team at the 2002 World Cup and has spent the last 15 seasons in Europe. The Galaxy and Rapids play each other again Tuesday night in Carson in the U.S. Open Cup.
