There’s a fiord in your future
Late to the party talking about: Ida Maria
I was lost, but now am found and daring you to listen to the power punk-pop anthem “Oh My God” by the Norwegian rocker just once. When you fail -- and you will fail to resist the growing hysteria in her raspy voice as she pounds out the lines “You think I’m in control? Oh my God!” again and again -- go buy her first U.S. album, “Fortress Round My Heart,” and enjoy the rest. (Tuesday)

Didn’t catch it at Sundance and am still not sure if we should talk about: “Lymelife”
These things together could all be good: Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon, Martin Scorsese in a producing role, messed-up families at their breaking points. But does this line of dialogue make anyone else cringe? “Welcome to our wonderful little family and our perfect little suburban life.” Ack. (Friday)

Then again, I think we should talk about: “17 Again”
It’s make or break time for Zac Efron. No more “High School Musical” movies on the way, and last we heard, he dropped out of the planned remake of “Footloose.” What is he thinking? Probably that “17 Again,” a “Big”-in-reverse movie about a stressed-out dad who wakes up in the body of a teenager, actually doesn’t look half bad. Maybe comedy is his thing? (Friday)

OK, and I’m also tempted to talk about: MTV’s “College Life”
But I can defend it. MTV went and gave a bunch of freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, their own cameras to record their own drama, i.e. the hookups, breakups, homesickness, an occasional cram session. It’s narcissistic, a little fake and, in a way, a perfect ender for a Monday-night lineup that begins with “Gossip Girl” and “The Hills.” (Monday)

But seriously, you’ll want to talk about: PaleyFest09 . . . if you like good TV
Here’s your opportunity to pick the brains of the casts and creators of “True Blood,” “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog,” “Dollhouse,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Mentalist” and “Desperate Housewives” on Sunday. (Get tickets at www.paleycenter.org.) (All week)
