I couldn’t get through Christopher Reynolds’ article [“Bucking the Norm,” April 5] without glancing at those images of horses being brutalized by criminals. Surely he could have found something more suitable for violent offenders to do in their leisure time other than animal abuse. Maybe an old-fashioned cockfight or shiv-making festival?
