VS. WASHINGTON
Time: 8.
On the air: TV: FSN West; Radio: 570.
Where: Pauley Pavilion.
Records: UCLA 19-6 overall, 8-4 Pacific 10 Conference; Washington 19-6, 10-3.
Update: If the 20th-ranked Bruins have any hope of winning a fourth consecutive Pac-10 regular-season title, they must defeat the 22nd-ranked Washington. The last time these teams met (an 86-75 Huskies victory), as UCLA swingman Josh Shipp said: “They just out-toughed us.” After being outshot 43-15 at the free-throw line, the Bruins will need to do a better job of penetrating the Huskies’ defense. “We’re going to have to be more aggressive and force the refs to make calls,” Bruins guard Jrue Holiday said.
