‘We’re still shocked we’re on television at all, let alone getting nominations. This is all just so surreal. I always tell people, “Imagine if you put on a play with your cousin in a basement for your aunts and uncles and you’re nominated for a Tony” -- that’s what this is like.’

‘It sounds too cool for school, but I was asleep [when the nominations were announced]. Our land line started ringing -- and we never use that -- so I turned on my cell and Amy Adams was the first person to call me. I know, right?! So, I’m geeking out about that. But I’m also groggy, I haven’t brushed my teeth. I’m not ready. Amy and I go way back. We worked on “Talladega Nights,” we do game nights and do Mexican dinners. Stars, they’re just like us!’
