at Atlanta 5, New York 3: Chipper Jones, a career .330 hitter against the Mets, drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning with a single.
Chicago 6, at Washington 2: Rich Harden gave up three hits over six innings, Derrek Lee homered and the Cubs spoiled the debut of Nationals interim Manager Jim Riggleman.
Colorado 10, at San Diego 1: Aaron Cook pitched six solid innings, Clint Barmes hit a three-run homer and Seth Smith added a two-run shot for the Rockies.
Houston 3, at Dodgers 0: Wandy Rodriguez combined with four relievers on an eight-hitter.
