Liberal bias on tax reform?
Re: “File this tax revamp effort under flawed,” July 20:
Your newspaper will promote its liberal agenda whenever and wherever it wills. Anyone doubting the liberal agenda of our media can be only be considered a liberal. Imagine that!

Michael Hiltzik criticizes a proposed revamp of the state’s tax system because it would result in a tax increase of $7 billion for residents earning between $20,000 and $200,000 but a cut of $4.4 billion for those earning more than $200,000. He fails to say how much each group would pay in total as well as what proportion of each group’s total income those taxes would represent.
