Police are looking for an assailant who killed a man in Koreatown by hitting him in the stomach with a skateboard, authorities said Monday.
The victim, who was about 24 years old, hit his head on the pavement near West 8th and South Berendo streets about 11:45 p.m. Sunday after being struck with the skateboard, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sam Park said. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died.
