NFL WEEK 10 : SUNDAY NIGHT
Al Michaels serves as the play-by-play announcer and Cris Collinsworth provides the color commentary for tonight’s New England at Indianapolis game (5:15 p.m., Channel 4):
Michaels says ...
If you appreciate quarterback play, there’s no better game. These are the quarterbacks of the decade. And the great thing about it is you can make the case that either guy is No. 1, but I don’t think it really matters in regard. It’s as if you love two different songs. Why do you have to say one is better than the other? When they’re on the field and in the same game, I think it’s time to kind of go to the symphony and sit back and enjoy the music.
Collinsworth says ...
The Colts have two rookie corners, but they’re two pretty good rookie corners. The game probably comes down to whether or not they can keep those corners from having to play one-on-one situations. Nobody’s going to match up against Randy Moss and Wes Welker one-on-one and win a majority of those snaps. For the Patriots, it’s can they block the pass rushers coming from the outside. But more important, can Laurence Maroney get it going running the football?
