Up next for Ducks: Saturday at Philadelphia
AT PHILADELPHIA
When: 4 PDT.
Where: Wachovia Center.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.
Records: Ducks 1-1-1, Flyers 3-1-0.
Record vs. Flyers (2008-09): 0-0-1.
Update: The physical presence of Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger will serve as a reminder of what the Ducks are trying to replace this season. Pronger, whom the Ducks traded this off-season for second-line winger Joffrey Lupul, 19-year-old defenseman Luca Sbisa and draft picks, has four assists and a plus-four mark through four games. Philadelphia opened the season with three consecutive wins for the first time since the 1998-99 season before losing to Pittsburgh, 5-4, on Thursday. After giving up eight goals in losses to San Jose and Minnesota, the Ducks rebounded Thursday with a 6-1 victory against Boston. The Ducks were six for six killing penalties and blocked 15 shots against the Bruins.
