West Virginia 34, at Syracuse 13: Noel Devine caught a touchdown pass and rushed for another score, Ryan Clarke scored on two short runs, and the Mountaineers (4-1, 1-0) beat the Orange (2-4, 0-2) for the eighth straight time.
at Rutgers 42, Texas Southern 0: The Scarlet Knights’ (4-1) defense got seven sacks, forced four turnovers and held the Tigers (1-4) to minus-25 yards rushing.
at Louisville 25, Southern Mississippi 23: Ryan Payne kicked a 32-yard field goal with 30 seconds to play and the Cardinals (2-4) beat the Golden Eagles (3-3).
