Freedom. Frat parties. First apartments. College students have so many reasons to be grateful. So do those of us who’ve already graduated. The lucrative back-to-school shopping season has enticed designers to dazzle the campus crowd with high-impact, low-cost furnishings. Lucky for Mom and Dad, many can work just as well in a house as they do in a dorm. Come Labor Day, some of these pieces are also on sale. A sampling of good buys that caught our eye.
