Rockies keep Cardinals from clinching
Associated Press
DENVER — Yorvit Torrealba’s sacrifice fly scored Troy Tulowitzki in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 2-1, on Friday night.
The loss prevented the Cardinals from becoming the first team in the majors to clinch its division title, and kept the Rockies 3 1/2 games ahead of the Atlanta Braves in the NL wild-card race.
