Now on PBS: The newsmagazine takes viewers to the fight against the Taliban and Al Qaeda, in Waziristan, inside Pakistan’s border, where many of the enemy fighters and leaders are based (10:30 p.m. KCET).

Viva Las Vegas: Elvis Presley plays driver Lucky Jackson, who comes to Sin City in search of money for a new engine and a win in the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Ann-Margret also stars in this 1964 musical, airing at 3:15 p.m. on TCM, part of the 20-hour Presley movie marathon that ends with a 9 p.m. showing of 1957’s “Jailhouse Rock.”

Kelly’s Heroes: Clint Eastwood stars as a GI in World War II Europe who hatches a scheme to steal a fortune in gold from the Nazis. Telly Savalas, Gavin MacLeod, Don Rickles, Donald Sutherland, Stuart Margolin, Harry Dean Stanton and Carroll O’Connor also star (8 p.m. AMC).
