Pacific 73, at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 63: Demetrece Young scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half to lead Pacific (9-5, 2-0 Big West). Joe Ford had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, along with four blocks and a steal. Lorenzo Keeler scored 18 points to lead the Mustangs (4-9, 1-1).
at UC Santa Barbara 68, UC Davis 47: James Nunnally scored 17 points and keyed a late charge to lift the Gauchos (7-6, 2-1 Big West) over the Aggies (6-9, 2-1). After Davis had cut the Gauchos’ lead to 45-40, Nunnally scored eight points in a 21-4 run that gave Santa Barbara a 66-44 margin with 1:56 left. Julian Welch led the Aggies with 12 points off the bench.
WOMEN
at UCLA 57, California 46: The Bruins, who were dominated on the boards, used a 9-0 run in the second half to defeat the Golden Bears and improve to 3-0 in Pacific 10 play, 10-4 overall. Jasmine Dixon, with 13 points, was the only Bruin in double figures. Cal (6-7, 0-2) outrebounded UCLA, 49-34.
No. 2 Stanford 82, USC 62: Kayla Pedersen had 24 points and 14 rebounds and Nnemkadi Ogwumike had 21 points and 12 boards for the Cardinal (12-1, 2-0 Pac-10), which has won 15 of its last 17 games against the Trojans. Stanford outrebounded USC 54-27 and shot 46.6% from the field. Ashley Corral led the Trojans (8-6, 2-1) with 18 points. Brianna Gilbreath had 10 points and six assists.
