Fox reality series: The Overrated column in today’s Calendar section and a Critic’s Guide in today’s Calendar Part 2 mention the upcoming TV show “Our Little Genius,” After the sections went to print, Fox delayed the start of the program. No new date was given for its premiere.

3-D television: An article in the Jan. 3 Business section about new technology making home versions of the 3-D format viable said that moviegoers watching 3-D films in the 1950s were issued color-tint glasses. The 3-D glasses of that era generally used polarized lenses to create the depth effect.

Gilbert Arenas’ high school: An NBA column on an alleged incident involving handguns in the Washington Wizards’ locker room that appeared in the Jan. 3 Sports section said the Wizards’ Gilbert Arenas went to Woodland Hills Taft High. Arenas attended Van Nuys Grant.

Brazil soccer: A soccer column in the Jan. 3 Sports section looking irreverently ahead to 2010 included the following passage: “Brasilia -- Lulu, the president of Brazil and no relation to the 1960s English pop singer, has decreed that the country can field only players with names consisting of four or fewer letters.” The president of Brazil is Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and the pop singer Lulu is Scottish, not English.
