Update: It has been nearly three weeks since the Galaxy’s first loss, 1-0 to Real Salt Lake on June 9. During the break, not much has changed — Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle are still in South Africa with the U.S. national team, and forward Mike Magee, who has struggled with injury, is out following sports hernia surgery. The Galaxy tied Toronto FC earlier this season, 0-0, in Los Angeles on May 15. This may not be the last time the Galaxy visits Toronto, which is host to this year’s MLS Cup final.
