Earthquakes rattle the L.A. area and Port Hueneme
A 3.0 earthquake struck near Culver City early Saturday, but there were no reports of damage.
The Los Angeles-area temblor struck around 4:33 a.m. two miles east of Baldwin Hills and three miles east of Culver City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
On Friday night, a magnitude 3.9 earthquake occurred near Port Hueneme in Ventura County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor struck at 8:19 p.m. about nine miles east-southeast of Port Hueneme. It was felt as far away as downtown Los Angeles.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in that temblor.
