Jayma Mays: The My Favorite Weekend feature in the Sept. 17 Calendar section quoted “Glee” actress Jayma Mays recommending Los Feliz Cafe for coffee. She has since said she meant another restaurant in the area, Cafe Los Feliz.

“The Madeleine Brand Show”: An article in the Sept. 20 Calendar section about the debut of “The Madeleine Brand Show” on KPCC-FM said that Rick Bayless was among the chefs who had been lined up for the program’s “Five-Minute Meal” segment. Bayless has not been scheduled for an appearance. In addition, a correction of the article in the Sept. 29 Section A mistakenly referred to the show as being on KCRW-FM.

Sally Menke obituary: The obituary of film editor Sally Menke in the Sept. 29 LATExtra section said Menke, who was found dead after she went hiking in Griffith Park, had continued on the hike while her walking companion turned back. Police said Wednesday that Menke had cut short the hike and that the other walker had continued. In addition, the article incorrectly said that Menke’s dog was a yellow Labrador retriever. It was a black Labrador.

Training for doctors: An article in Monday’s LATExtra section about training videos for military doctors bound for Iraq and Afghanistan incorrectly characterized part of UCLA and Pelagique LLC’s contract with the military. The contract included development of an ultrasound simulator for training, not an ultrasound simulator training video.

NFL: A headline on Sam Farmer’s NFL column in Wednesday’s Sports section incorrectly said that rival teams Pittsburgh and Baltimore were “steeling for a fight in Baltimore.” This weekend’s game between the Steelers and Ravens will be played in Pittsburgh, not Baltimore.
