Think of it as Jerry Weintraub‘s last big production and sequel. The Beverly Hills estate of the late mega-producer was listed for sale earlier this month for $25 million. Now his Palm Desert home is being offered at $16 million.

The Beverly Hills residence, renovated a decade ago, includes a contemporary-style house and a detached guesthouse that combine to offer five bedrooms and nine bathrooms in 7,300 square feet of interiors.

Among the features are walls of glass, a media room with a wet bar, a wine cellar and an elevator. The master suite boasts a separate sitting room, a study and a gym.

A tennis court, a swimming pool and formal gardens are within grounds of more than an acre. A gated motor court with parking for as many as 25 vehicles sits off the entrance to the home.

The Palm Desert residence, designed by architect Guy Dreier, deviates from traditional style with a vibrant exterior done in panther slate, protruding rooflines and walls of glass. Two swimming pools encompass the perimeter.

Within the 9,152 square feet of living space are a custom pub fashioned after Claridge’s Bar in London, a media room, an office and a great room with a see-through fireplace and a wet bar. A cantilevered master suite has an Onyx fireplace, glass floor accents and a boutique-style closet for a total of six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.

A private golf cart garage sits off the master bedroom.

The home is set on an elevated site within Big Horn, an affluent golf course community. Views take in the surrounding fairways, mountains and Coachella Valley.

His final film, “The Legend of Tarzan,” is set for release in July.
