Chris Webber lists Malibu retreat at nearly $4 million [Photos]

Chris Webber, the retired pro basketball forward turned sports analyst, has listed his Malibu house at $3.995 million.

Set behind gates on nearly three-quarters of an acre, the 2,910-square-foot home has 180-degree coastline views from the inside, the deck and the garden.

Walls of glass, wood floors and stone counters complement the contemporary interiors. Features include an office/den, a library/study, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

A lap pool, a spa and a sunning area are among outdoor features.

Webber, who turns 40 on March 1, was a first-round draft pick who played for the Golden State Warriors, the Sacramento Kings and the Detroit Pistons, among other National Basketball Assn. teams, in his 15-year career. He is an NBA analyst for Turner Sports and headed up one of the teams in this year’s NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

The retired forward and five-time NBA All-Star bought the property in 2007 for $3.75 million, public records show.
