Even before the multi-player trade that sent him to the Miami Marlins was finalized earlier this week, Dee Gordon was on the move.

The all-star second baseman recently purchased a three-bedroom townhouse in Winderemere, Fla. Gordon, a central Florida native, paid a little over $262,000 for the property.

The newly built two-story home features raised ceilings, a living room, a dining room, a den and a loft area in about 2,200 square feet of living space. An updated kitchen sports custom cabinetry, a breakfast bar and granite counter tops. The master suite has dual vanities and a custom shower.

Community amenities available to residents include a “tot lot” and a park. The Multiple Listing Service notes that a pool and cabana are currently under construction.

Gordon, the son of former major league reliever Tom Gordon, enjoyed a breakout season for the Dodgers in 2014, leading the league in triples and stolen bases while making his first All-Star team. On Wednesday, the 26-year-old, along with pitcher Dan Haren and infielder Miguel Rojas, was dealt by L.A. to Miami for four young players.

The property originally came to market in April with an asking price of about $275,000, records show. Pat Taylor of Exit Real Estate Results was the listing agent. John Russell of uOwn Real Estate represented Gordon in the sale, which closed in late October.
