Don Johnson puts his estate in Santa Barbara up for sale
Don Johnson, known for his fashion-setting role as a detective on “Miami Vice,” and his wife, Kelley Phleger, have listed their gated estate in Santa Barbara at $14.9 million.
Set on 2.76 acres with ocean and mountain views, the French countryside-inspired home has 11,229 square feet of living space.
There is a family room with an A-frame ceiling, a formal dining room, four bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Mature oak trees, a one-bedroom guest house, a swimming pool, an outdoor fireplace, an in-ground trampoline and a dog run complete the grounds.
The couple paid $12.5 million for the property last year, public records show.
Johnson, 64, starred on “Vice” from 1984 to 1990 and on “Nash Bridges” from 1996 to 2001. This year he has been in the series “From Dusk Till Dawn” and the films “Cold in July” and “The Other Woman.”
Kathrin Nicholson and Billy Rose of the Agency and Nancy Kogevinas of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices are the listing agents.
