Singer Ester Dean seeks $3.5 million for breezy Palos Verdes Estates villa
It’s 2018, and Ester Dean is ready to sell.
After listing her Silicon Beach condo for $1.35 million last month, the singer-songwriter has listed her Mediterranean villa in the Malaga Cove area of Palos Verdes Estates for sale at $3.5 million.
The asking price is about $800,000 more than she paid for the property four years ago, record show.
Built in 1992, the sunny spot sits on a third of an acre.
An elegant entryway with ocean views leads into a vaulted vestibule. Designer touches across the nearly 4,500-square-foot floor plan include custom silk wall coverings, faux painting walls and floors of maple hardwood and Travertine tile.
The main level consists of a living room with a grand fireplace, a center-island chef’s kitchen and a formal dining room. French doors in both the library and a downstairs bedroom lead to a private patio with additional ocean views.
The spacious master suite anchors the upper level and includes three walk-in closets, two vanities and a marble fireplace. An exterior patio and balcony sit off the master bedroom.
Greg Bingham of Coldwell Banker Residential and Jeanne Valvo of Pacific Union International are the co-listing agents.
Dean, 35, has primarily found success as a songwriter and producer, working with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Usher. She also produced Rihanna’s 2010 album “Loud,” which landed four Grammy Award nominations.
