Pro basketball player Luol Deng may be a new addition to the Lakers’ lineup, but he is wasting no time making himself at home in L.A. The 31-year-old small forward recently bought a newly built contemporary in Brentwood for $6.15 million, property records show.

The three-story house features an open floor plan with folding glass doors that lead to a backyard with canyon and city views. A media room, a lounge and an office with its own entry are within the 6,518 square feet of living space. Six of the seven bedrooms have balconies and en-suite bathrooms.

Equipped with an elevator, the house is topped by a nearly 1,000-square-foot roof deck with city and ocean views and an outdoor fireplace.

The two-time NBA All-Star has played for the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers and, most recently, the Miami Heat.

Santiago Arana of the Agency was the listing agent, and Gillian Bland of Gibson International represented Deng, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
