Patrick Stump sells house with recording studio in Hollywood Hills
Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy has sold his Hollywood Hills home at $1.8 million.
He bought the property in 2008 for $1.975 million, public records show.
The renovated contemporary, built in 1969, features a custom-built recording studio that has its own entrance and is soundproofed.
Other rock star accoutrements include a floating-style staircase, concrete floors and an open-concept floor plan laid out for entertaining.
The 2,509 square feet of living space contain a corner study, three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are solar panels, a security system and an outdoor dining area.
The home, set on a quarter-acre knoll, has views of the city, the Hollywood Reservoir and the Hollywood sign.
Stump, 30, is the lead singer, a guitarist and a composer for the punk pop band, whose albums include “Save Rock and Roll” (2013), “Infinity on High” (2007) and “From Under the Cork Tree” (2005). He released the solo album “Soul Punk” in 2011 while Fall Out Boy was on hiatus.
