The roughly 20-acre property, which includes a polo field, a clubhouse and equestrian facilities, is owned by Patrick Nesbitt, the founder and chairman of Windsor Capital Group. Active in the worldwide polo scene, Nesbitt is a chairman of the Federation of International Polo and previously served as executive director of the World Polo Championships.
Reached by a private and double-gated drive, the Mediterranean-style estate has a large stone motor court with a fountain.
The main house, with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, features an assortment of gilded details. Grand formal rooms are embellished with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, built-ins and corinthian columns. Coffered ceilings trimmed in gold leaf details keep the eye moving throughout the interiors.
Atop the home, a rooftop pavilion with a barbecue and a hot tub takes in sweeping ocean views.
Including a detached house and a polo clubhouse, the property boasts about 12,000 square feet of living space. There’s also a detached four-car garage.
