NBA forward Solomon Hill scores a fresh contemporary on the Westside
Though a torn hamstring has kept him off the court this season, New Orleans Pelicans forward Solomon Hill is making moves.
The 26-year-old has bought a contemporary home in the Westside community of Palms for $2.3 million.
The 3,481-square-foot house, built in 2014, has high ceilings, white oak floors and an abundance of open-plan living space. A central staircase splits two sunlit living areas, each equipped with a fireplace. Also on the main floor is a dining area and center-island kitchen with walnut cabinetry.
The floor plan includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms, including a master suite with a walk-in closet and steam shower.
Sliding glass doors open to a covered patio with a fire pit. A stroll through the landscaped lawn leads to a zen-like garden and gazebo.
The property came to market last April for $2.45 million and was more recently listed at $2.349 million, records show.

Hill played college basketball at the University of Arizona before being drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2013. Through four seasons, he has shot 40% from the field in 249 games played.
He is in the second year of a four-year, $48-milion deal he signed in 2016.
