‘Mad Men’ creator sells Fairfax-area home
“Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner and his wife, architect Linda Brettler, have sold their Spanish-style house in the Fairfax area for $1.725 million.
Built in 1933, the two-story house features a gated courtyard, archways, a balcony, a wood-paneled den, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. There is 3,525 square feet of living space. A swimming pool sits in the backyard.
Weiner, 46, has received multiple Emmys for his work on “Mad Men,” in its fifth season, and “The Sopranos” (2004-07).
The couple sold because they bought another house in the area.
Leah Brenner and Naomi Hartman of Coldwell Banker’s Hancock Park South office handled both sides of the transaction, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
