Los Angeles Times television critic Mary McNamara and Gold Standard awards columnist Glenn Whipp got together with the Times’ Stacey Leasca to bandy about these topics as well as discuss the night’s bipolar nature that saw voters either rubber-stamp past winners or go in a bold and often nutty new direction.
