The Grammy nominations are set to be unveiled in an hourlong show from Nashville starting at 10 p.m. PT/ET Wednesday and airing on CBS.

Though Adele was the big headline last time around, this year the picture is a bit cloudier, with no obvious front-runner.

Adele’s “21,” the bestselling album of 2011, has once again led the way this year, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures. And the biggest album of 2012 that was actually released in 2012 is not eligible for Grammy consideration: Taylor Swift‘s “Red” missed the Sept. 30 cutoff date for the current Grammy nominations with an Oct. 22 release and will have to wait unti the 2014 show.
