Join us for a live chat with ‘New Girl’s’ Max Greenfield on Monday
As Schmidt on Fox’s “New Girl,” Max Greenfield is a many-splendored thing. He’s the refined and enlightened pescetarian. The endearing D-bag. The neurotic ladies man. The man who can’t be tickled. A self-proclaimed Jewish assassin. The list goes on.
And soon he’ll be a guest at the Los Angeles Times when he stops by our offices for a live video chat on Monday at 2:30 p.m. PDT to discuss his character’s ride in the sitcom’s third season.
It was a season in which Schmidt tried different ways to win back CeCe (Hannah Simone) with such sweet nothings as “Your eyes ... in the moonlight, they sparkle like ... fish eyes.” Ultimately, though, he put the chasing to an end.
We’ll talk to Greenfield about Schmidt’s uncharacteristically unselfish decision, what it was like partying with Prince, maybe play a game of lemon mouth, and work in some questions about his guest stints on “The Mindy Project” and “Hot in Cleveland.”
If you want to get in on the fun, tweet us your questions using the hashtag #asklatimes, and we’ll pass them along.
