Mario’s moves: From “Dancing with the Stars” to dancing on Broadway.
NEW YORK (AP) — From “Dancing with the Stars” to dancing on Broadway.
Mario Lopez, a finalist on the ABC reality series, will join the Broadway cast of “A Chorus Line” next month, producer John Breglio announced Tuesday.
Lopez will play Zach, the show’s demanding director, in the hit revival which has been running since October 2006 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. He joins the show April 15.
Mario’s “talents and charm will transfer beautifully to the Broadway stage,” said Breglio.
“Every actor dreams about appearing on a Broadway stage,” Lopez said. “I have as well and have been searching for the right time and opportunity.”
