Alec Baldwin marries Hilaria, divorces Twitter, hates Harvey

Alec Baldwin flashed a big smile to photogs and fans outside St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York on Saturday, then proceeded inside to wed his yoga-instructor sweetheart.

“Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening ... ,” rep and friend Matthew Hiltzik said Saturday via Twitter, “sharing the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral, and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service.”

Spotted on the way into the ceremony were family members including daughter Ireland Baldwin, brother Stephen Baldwin, sister Beth Keuchler and mom Carol Baldwin (Dad died in 1983), plus “30 Rock” costar Tina Fey with hubby Jeff Richmond, “To Rome With Love” director Woody Allen with wife Soon-Yi, “Saturday Night Live” honcho Lorne Michaels, actress Mariska Hargitay with husband Peter Hermann, and Robert Kennedy Jr. with daughter Kyra LeMoyne.

The newly minted, 28-year-old Mrs. Baldwin — yes, she changed her name, at least on Twitter — shared a picture of her dazzling engagement ring and wedding band online Sunday. Her husband had shared a pic of his band too, before he signed off Monday with “It’s been fun” and, poof, shut down his @alecbaldwin Twitter account, previously the site of much Internet fun.

Hiltzik did not immediately respond to a Ministry query regarding said Twitter-quitting.

One person we assume wasn’t invited to the wedding? One Harvey Levin of TMZ, who gets a dose of full-blast Baldwin, 54, in the actor’s newest Vanity Fair interview, which the mag’s website teased Monday.

Baldwin described his feelings toward Levin after TMZ posted that infamous, angry voicemail he’d left for then 11-year-old Ireland in 2007: “I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes.”

Well, really, who wouldn’t, right? Still, the now-newlywed told Vanity Fair, “You have to let that go. Enough time — I mean, it does heal wounds.”

So maybe now that Alec’s wedding day has passed, the paparazzi and various little girls will stop following him around New York like he’s bacon and they’re starving?

Wouldn’t that be a honeymoon....
