Amanda Bynes’ car is impounded, to go with her suspended license

Can someone call a cab for Amanda Bynes? ‘Cause girlfriend’s big black BMW was snapped up by police in Burbank over the weekend.

The actress was cited for driving with a suspended license around 8:20 a.m. Sunday near Bob Hope Airport, according to L.A. Now. She was not detained.

Bynes’ license was suspended Aug. 25 in the wake of an April arrest on suspicion of DUI and two separate hit-and-run incidents alleged to have taken place April 10 and Aug. 4.

That didn’t stop her from driving around Sept. 11, smoking something from a pipe designed to look like a car cigarette lighter, as seen in pictures posted by TMZ. She reportedly told friends she was smoking tobacco, not weed, the website said.

The whole situation seemed to have Lindsay Lohan a bit irritated.

“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?,” Lohan tweeted Sunday night.

Well, Linds, could be because Bynes hasn’t actually been convicted of anything yet, whereas you had those DUI convictions, probation violations, etc. Just a guess, that.

Bynes is due in court on Sept. 21 on the DUI charge and Sept. 27 regarding the hit-and-run charges.
