Newlyweds Russell Wilson and Ciara are expecting a baby

Newlywed Ciara is pregnant, Russell Wilson announced on the evening of his wife’s 31st birthday as he shared a photo of the two of them looking cuddly, happy and serene.

“The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay,” the Seattle Seahawks quarterback wrote Tuesday.

“On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give…,” the R&B singer said at the same time on Facebook, including emojis of a baby’s face, a baby bottle and more with the same photo.

Wilson, 27, and his “Goodies”-crooning lady are expecting a baby not quite four months after tying the knot in early July — and subsequently sharing with the world that their not-until-we’re-married pledge of abstinence had come to really good end on their wedding night.

“ ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...’ Jeremiah 1:5 NIV,” Wilson tweeted Wednesday morning, referencing an apropos Bible verse of the day.

This will be a second baby for Ciara, who shares 2-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn with rapper Future, her ex-fiance.
