Actors Jennie Garth, Peter Facinelli finalize divorce, play nice

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli have finalized their divorce, officially ending their 11-year marriage.

The “Twilight Saga” and “Nurse Jackie” actor filed for divorce in March 2012, with Garth following suit soon after. Fifteen days earlier, the couple had announced that they planned to separate.

“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” Facinelli and Garth said in a joint statement at the time. “We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together.”

The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The divorce order was signed and finalized Tuesday, according to People magazine and TMZ.

The actors agreed on a 50-50 custody arrangement for their three daughters together -- Luca Bella, 15, Lola Ray, 10, and Fiona Eve, 6 -- though they said they do not need a formal custody arrangement.

The magazine said that Facinelli and Garth each declined spousal support. But one interesting component of the agreement is that they have have joint bank accounts for “the care and education” of their daughters, TMZ said. Both parents will have access to and are expected to put equal amounts of money into the account.

Garth, a “Beverly Hills 90210” alum, went on to appear in “90210,” the CW reboot of her high school soap. She later starred in her own CMT reality series, “Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country.”

Facinelli, whose final “Twilight” film hit theaters in 2012, is set to appear in the thrillers “Freezer” and “Gallows Hill” this year.
