Kaley Cuoco ‘marries’ fiance Ryan Sweeting on ‘Ellen’

Kaley Cuoco donned a bridal veil on Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to “marry” fiance Ryan Sweeting.

DeGeneres, who loves to revel in her guest stars’ latest good news, allowed her studio audience, daytime viewers and anyone with access to YouTube to witness their quickie nuptials.

The couple called it tying the “not.”

“The Big Bang Theory” star, 27, announced her engagement to tennis player Sweeting in September after only three months of dating. And what better way to celebrate another month of togetherness than with a televised faux wedding?

“I am very, very happy,” Cuoco said. “Life is so good right now, I cannot even tell you, we are so happy.”

The actress admitted that the relationship is “newer” and knew that “it looks a little crazy to some people,” but their romance just took off as soon as they went on their first date — a date she almost didn’t agree to.

“I was really nervous about it and just not wanting to do this,” she said. “So we go and have a dinner date and we’re still on our first date. He never went home, he’s from Florida!”

“By day two, I was like, oh, my God, it hit me. It’s so unbelievable, I said, ‘This is it, this is it, this is it...’ ”

DeGeneres pointed out that Cuoco doesn’t “dilly dally, you just get right to it,” so she offered up an expedited ceremony to keep with the couple’s tradition, since Sweeting was backstage anyway.

“My head writer, Kevin, over the summer, got ordained, so we have this ready should you choose,” DeGeneres said, then the curtains opened to reveal a wedding garland, musical guests the Wanted and Sweeting.

The generous host then gifted Cuoco with a “bride”-emblazoned tennis bag that had a tennis ball-trimmed veil and tennis-ball trimmed necklace in it. (Cuoco later posted an Instagram picture of herself carrying the bag, calling the tote the “best wedding gift ever.”)

And so, Sweeting beckoned to Cuoco. DeGeneres walked her down the aisle “real quick” and offered up her own rings to the bride and groom.

“This isn’t legal, right?” Sweeting asked.

“Does this look legal to you?” Cuoco responded hysterically, but when asked if she took Sweeting to be her husband, she said, “Hell, ya I do!”

The “newlyweds” then took to Twitter on Wednesday to share their news (and conveniently promote Cuoco’s Thursday appearance on the show),

“Officially tied the not with my love @KaleyCuoco thanks to @TheEllenShow. Tune in tomorrow to see the ceremony,” Sweeting tweeted Wednesday, adding, “Not officially guys take it easy.”

“Thank you to the @TheEllenShow for making all my dreams come true!” Cuoco tweeted Wednesday, sharing a photo of herself cracking up in the veil. “Ha! Tune in tomorrow to see happens!”

DeGeneres then shared a video clip of the “nuptials” with this message: “Congratulations, @KaleyCuoco and @RyanSweeets. Your wedding was beautiful. And also, legally binding.”

So Sweeting took the cue to thank his impromptu wedding planner.

“Thank you @TheEllenShow for making me feel at home. Baby number one: Ellen Sweeting,” he wrote.

“This tweet is legally binding, too,” DeGeneres quipped.
