Kevin Bacon posts fat-faced selfie, looks even younger than usual

Kevin Bacon isn't one of those actors known for going all Method and changing his body dramatically to suit a role. Leave that to the Christian Bales, Russell Crowes and Charlize Therons of the world.
And that may be why a fat-faced selfie that the star of "The Following" posted on social media is such a surprise.
"Greetings from the UK," Bacon said on Instagram with the photo above, taken with a movie-set trailer in the background.
While the 56-year-old's face is unrecognizable in the shot, it's all hands on deck for his sparkling, crinkled-corner eyes and familiar grin. Not a surprise, albeit annoying: Bacon looks even younger than usual with a few pounds on him.
If only he'd posed with Super Creepy Rob Lowe ...
