Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, is REAL!

The Grammy-winning rapper made his little girl’s highly anticipated debut by sharing a photograph of North on the finale of “Kris,” the daytime talk show Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, has been trial-running this summer.

But before the show aired, socia media was already abuzz with the snapshot.

“Meet North West. #WatchKris,” said the tweet that shared the photo from the talk show’s official Twitter account.

Kardashian also shared the pic on her Instagram account, simply captioning it with “NORTH.” In its first hour, the photo received more than 542,000 likes on the photo-sharing site and was in the tens of thousands of retweets and favorites on Twitter. Well before the show aired on the West Coast, there were more than 50,000 retweets each off the two accounts.

In the simple snapshot, the 2-month-old baby girl, said to be carried by her mother, is looking straight at the camera, with the rest of her body concealed behind a white blanket. She has a full head of hair and chubby cheeks too. And we have to say, she’s pretty darn adorable and looks quite a bit like her glamorous reality TV star mommy.

Kardashian, 32, and West, 36, have been living in Jenner’s home since the June 15 arrival of their baby girl, while their new home is being renovated. They’ve been seldom seen in public.

North was spotted a few times with her parents but was always fully covered when she was out for a doctor’s appointment and to attend her great-grandfather’s funeral in Oklahoma. Kardashian, the frequently photographed “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, has also kept a low profile as she reportedly attempts to shed her baby weight and keep her daughter out of the spotlight.

West taped the segment on Jenner’s show Monday and it aired Friday. Though Jenner and West have had a sometimes tense relationship in the past, the Grammy-winning rapper sweetly opened up about his relationship with his reality starlet girlfriend.

“It’s all this talk about baby pictures and can you get paid for the baby picture or do you want to put it on a magazine,” West said.

“And for me and your daughter we have not attempted to get paid for anything, we have not attempted to put it on a magazine. You just stop all of the noise and I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother’s season finale to bring a picture of North.”

(No doubt helpful in the ratings department as well. The fate of the show has yet to be announced by Fox.)

The paparazzi have swarmed the new parents and several reports had said that they were struggling with how they would introduce their daughter: whether they would share their own pic or have a glossy debut on a magazine cover.

The vainglorious “I Am A God” rapper actually comes off mild and extremely likable in the interview, a huge departure from his usual devil-may-care persona.

Jenner pointed out that West had embraced his role as a dad and said she’s come to know him differently from how people summed him up in the past, adding that he was “soft” and “sweet.”

“Please don’t call me soft as a rapper,” he said, laughing.

Much of this impression seems to be a result of his relationship with Jenner’s second-eldest daughter, Kim.

“I’m being with this person because, you know, I love this person. She’s worth it to me,” adding that his girlfriend is “my joy. She brought my new joy into the world. There’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comment that’s going to take that joy from me.”

“Now I have two really special people to live for,” he told Jenner.

The rapper admitted to sometimes feeling hopeless after the 2007 death of his mother, Donda West.

“After I lost my mother, there were times I felt I would put my life at risk,” he said. “I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.”

We like this Kanye so much more than the one who upstaged Taylor Swift at the VMAs.

“Even at my lowest points, the last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show. That’s the last thing I would want, right,” he said, laughing. “You know, I was just like a crazy rock star.”
