Kim Kardashian claps back at nude-selfie detractors, swearing, ‘I’m funny too!’

Oh, Kim Kardashian posted another nude selfie? That's old news. What isn't a snooze it that she has clapped back at the celebrity detractors who called her out for attempting to dominate the nude-news cycle yet again.

The 35-year-old's latest attention grab came Monday when she shared a censored, full-frontal image of herself posing at a bathroom mirror. "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL," she said in the caption. (This family-friendly outlet will let you use your discretion when it comes to viewing the full tweet and image.)

The pic, which has black bars over Kardashian's breasts and nether regions, comes just a few months after she gave birth to her second child, Saint West, and initially was hailed by many as her first post-baby nude selfie. Turns out the image was one in a series of nostalgic throwbacks.

Although the photo had its fair share of oglers, several celebrities called out Kanye West's wife for overexposing herself. (A Kardashian oversharing? We gasp!) But in a puzzling turn of events, the Kimoji-maker, who is usually fairly demure in her Twitter takedowns, released a rash of barbed tweets that led many to believe that her vociferous husband had taken over her account. More on that later.

Let's start with how things went down with legendary performer Bette Midler...

The Divine Miss M, who has previously criticized pop star Ariana Grande for her hypersexuality, quipped that the selfie didn't show anything new. (We're looking at you, #breaktheinternet Paper magazine cover.)

The "Selfish" author didn't take the jab lightly, responding with: "hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding." Then she got personal, adding, "I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu"

Midler answered those jabs on Tuesday, saying she was just making fun.

But Midler wasn't alone Monday in taking aim at Kardashian: "Kick-Ass" alum Chloe Grace Moretz had a more serious opinion.

"I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," the 19-year-old scolded. After Moretz herself was scolded for so-called slut-shaming Kardashian, she explained further: "There's a huge difference in respecting the platform that you're given as a celebrity and 'slut shaming' something I never have done and would never do."

The young actress' thoughtful remark elicited a childish taunt from Kardashian.

"Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter," the tweet sniped back, "since no one knows who she is."

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star had numerous responses in which she laughed about reading her comments, solicited nude photos and posted a different nude portrait that she captioned "#liberated."

In the midst of that, outspoken commentator Piers Morgan did more than just tweet his response to Kardashian's selfie, but also penned a guest column for the Daily Mail titled: "You've still got a great body Kim, but if you're really so successful, so secure and so rich why do you still feel the need to pose nude at 35?"

Morgan had initially tweeted: "I know the old man's $50 million in debt, Kim but this is absurd. Want me to buy you some clothes?," referencing West's recent claims of financial hardship.

He noted that he "got off lightly" when Kardashian responded with, "Hey @PiersMorgan never offer to buy a married woman clothes. That's on some Ashley Madison type ...  #forresearch"

In the column, Morgan wrote that Kardashian is "a smart cookie who, like her rapper husband Kanye West, knows exactly how to set the world agog with apoplexy with a single tweet."

"I found it all a bit depressing," he continued. "Kim's 35 now, and the mother of two very young children. She still looks fantastic, and of course has every right to post as many naked pictures as she likes. It's her body, her life. But it's hard to escape the creeping suspicion that this new frenzied and frankly rather desperate attempt to 'break the internet' is happening because other younger members of her family have been grabbing all the scantily-clad attention recently, notably half-sister 20-year-old Kendall 'Instagram Queen' Jenner.'"

Then he took it a step further, alleging that her Twitter vitriol wasn't actually her at all, but her rant-happy husband, presumably because of this particular tweet from the reality star, sent early on in the fiasco: "Sorry I'm late to the party guys, I was busy cashing my 80 million video game check & transferring 53 million into our joint account."

"Pure Kanye," Morgan proclaimed. "But until or if we hear otherwise, we must assume it really was Kim who's now morphed into a bragging, taunting female version of her other half."

Morgan and the world eventually did hear otherwise. Kardashian reportedly has disapproved of West's Twitter tirades — but now it seems that if she can't beat him, she'll join him. At least that's how it seemed late Tuesday morning, when she defended her own Twitter-rant skills.
