Kim Kardashian is pregnant, expecting a baby with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian is pregnant, and Kanye West is the father. Yes, you just read that. No, we’re not kidding.

“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby,” Kardashian posted Monday on her blog. “We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo.”

West had actually spilled the news Sunday night at a concert at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.

“Now you having my baby,” he told the crowd of 5,000 in song form, freestyling during the tune “Runaway.” Later, he asked the crowd if they could “make some noise for my baby mama right now?”

The Kardashian clan kicked in with Twitter wishes almost immediately.

“Im a happy girl !!!!!!!!! Wowza!,” said mom Kris Jenner. “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!”

Younger sis Khloe Kardashian Odom bubbled over with excitement. “KIMYE!!!!!,” she tweeted. “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!”

“I’m excited for Kanye and my sister!,” said her hubby, Lamar Odom. “There’s nothing like bringing life into this world! Let’s keep Gods blessings coming!”

Kourtney Kardashian, a mom of two with Scott Disick, was also thrilled. “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!”

Kardashian and West, friends for years, have been dating for about nine months. Her divorce from Kris Humphries, whom she separated from in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage, is not yet final. West’s mom died in 2007 after cosmetic surgery.

Kim’s about 12 weeks pregnant.
