Lake Bell gets married; guests include Aniston, Longoria, Diaz

Lake Bell is officially a Mrs.! The actress tied the knot with Scott Campbell at a star-studded wedding in New Orleans over the weekend.

Bell, 34, of “Children’s Hospital,” married the tattoo artist, 36, in a nondenominational ceremony at the Marigny Opera House on Saturday, her rep told People.

At the wedding, the actress wore a custom-made tiered Marchesa gown with a dramatically embellished collar and intricate veil. Her groom wore a dark Marc Jacobs tuxedo with white piping (Campbell is responsible for many of the famed designer’s personal tattoos).

The bride and groom met on the set of the HBO comedy “How to Make it in America” in 2011. Campbell, who played himself in the series, proposed to Bell on her birthday in March 2012.

The actress has appeared in “What Happens in Vegas,” “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy,” “No Strings Attached” and in TV shows including “New Girl” and “Boston Legal.” She made her directorial debut at the Sundance Film Festival this year with the comedy “In a World...,” which she also wrote and starred in.

Among the fête’s guests were celebrities including Campbell’s longtime friend Justin Theroux and his fiancee Jennifer Aniston, and many of Bell’s former costars: “Over Her Dead Body’s” Eva Longoria, “Black Rock’s” Kate Bosworth, “What Happens in Vegas’ ” Cameron Diaz, “Miss Match’s” Alicia Silverstone and Campbell’s ink client Josh Hartnett. The newlyweds hosted about 190 guests, according to the Daily Mail.

Cyclist Lance Armstrong was also in town to attend the nuptials, tweeting “Down in New Orleans for my buddy (and incredible artist) Scott Campbell’s wedding. Love this town.”

Longoria, of “Desperate Housewives” fame, shared a photo of the NOLA eats including a crawfish meal.

Bell’s father, Harvey Siegel, escorted her down the aisle and the couple’s pets Texas and Margaret served as the “dogs of honor” at the ceremony, as seen in an official photo the newlyweds shared with People.
