Malin Akerman welcomes ‘beautiful, healthy’ baby boy

Malin Akerman has given birth to a baby boy.

The “Children’s Hospital” and “Burning Love” actress and her husband, the Petalstones drummer Roberto Zincone, welcomed their first child Tuesday. And she took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!! #lovemykid “ she tweeted.

And in case you were wondering what the little guy’s name is, Akerman had that covered.

“PS and his name is...Sebastian Zincone :))) Love him more than life itself!! #whatafeeling !!!” the first-time mom added.

Akerman, 34, announced the pregnancy back in September 2012. She and Zincone married in Italy in September 2007.

The Swedish-Canadian beauty is set to next appear in the competing Linda Lovelace biopic “Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story” due out this year. She’ll also play Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry in “CBGB,” a film based on the famous club that helped launch Blondie, the Ramones and Talking Heads.
