Miley Cyrus explains her missing ring, gets a tattoo

According to Miley Cyrus, her engagement ring was at the shop. Or something like that.

Cyrus dropped a clue Thursday on Twitter after one of her backup singers complained Thursday about sending her own engagement ring off to get fixed, because one of the little diamonds had fallen out.

“ugh that’s the worst!,” Miley replied. “I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off.”

The former “Hannah Montana” star (don’t tell her we called her that) has been fending off rumors that she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have split — rumors that gained steam after she was spotted out last week not wearing her ring.

Cyrus was definitely tending to matters of the heart on Friday.

“Just did the RADDEST tattoo on @MileyCyrus - a miniature rendition of a daVinci anatomical heart!,” celeb tattoo artist Kat Von D posted on Instagram with a picture of her client’s new ink.

Does having a heart tattooed on the inside of your forearm count as wearing your heart on your sleeve? We like to think so.
