Philip Seymour Hoffman had little love for L.A. -- at least as far as his last will and testament indicates.

In his 2004 will, the Oscar-winning actor gave direction on where he wanted son Cooper, then his only child, to be raised in his absence. Missing from the list was the home of Hollywood.

“It is my strong desire ... that my son, Cooper Hoffman, be raised and reside in or near the borough of Manhattan in the state of New York, or Chicago, Illinois, or San Francisco, California,” he wrote in the document, obtained by outlets including TMZ and the New York Post, which has it posted online.

If Cooper’s guardian couldn’t live in any of those places, for whatever reason, Hoffman requested that the boy visit each for at least two weeks a year.

“The purpose of this request is so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts and architecture that such cities offer,” he wrote.

Ouch, Angelenos, that has to sting a bit.

Hoffman left the bulk of his estate to longtime girlfriend Mimi O’Donnell, the mother of his children, and provided a trust to be given to Cooper, now 10 -- half when he turns 21 and the other half when he turns 30. He also named O’Donnell executrix of the estate.

The “Capote” star had two daughters as well, Tallulah, 7 and Willa, 5.

He was residing separately from O’Donnell when he was found dead Feb. 2 in the bathroom of his New York City apartment of an apparent heroin overdose. The official cause of death is still undetermined pending toxicology results. He was 46.

The will was filed Wednesday morning in Manhattan Surrogate’s Court.
