Sara Gilbert of ‘The Talk,’ ‘Roseanne’ marries Linda Perry

Sara Gilbert and her girlfriend, Linda Perry, got married Sunday, her co-hosts on “The Talk” announced Monday on the show.

“Let’s get started with a big congratulations for our own Sara Gilbert, who got married last night,” Julie Chen said. “It was magical. It was the most beautiful ceremony.”

Aisha Tyler chimed in with, “Amazing, amazing night. Beautiful, and it was at sunset and overlooking the ocean.”

Then she caught herself.

“I mean, we can’t tell too much about it because we want Sara to talk about it,” Tyler said.

The 39-year-old newlywed is off on her honeymoon all week, Chen said, but teased that come next Monday they’d be showing pictures of the event and Gilbert would share details. Now, the former “Roseanne” actress is notoriously shy, but she did bubble over a while back about Perry’s proposal, so maybe Monday will bring some good dish.

Gilbert and Perry, 48, got engaged in April 2013, with musician and music producer Perry proposing in an intricate affair that involved a love song, a breakup song, a picnic, a guitarist, a daydream, a string section and horns, T-shirts, moms, friends and musician John Waite. The two started dating in late 2011.

In August 2011, about a year after going public about her sexuality, Gilbert broke up with Allison Adler, her partner of 10 years. The former couple have young two children together, son Levi and daughter Sawyer.
