Watch Snooki and son find out she’s having a baby girl

It’s a baby girl meatball for “Jersey Shore” alum Snooki, a.k.a. Nicole Polizzi.

The reality star made the announcement with a video taken as she and her son, Lorenzo, found out in real time that the little guy would be getting a baby sister.

“Jionni and I have a big announcement about our new baby on the way!!!” she tweeted Thursday, posting a link to the YouTube video.

Snooki, who’s expecting her second child with fiance Jionni LaValle, opens a box from her hubby, releasing pink balloons that tell the new baby’s gender.

“Oh, my goodness, we’re having a girl! Yay!” the 26-year-old MTV star says before tempering her excitement with this gem of a statement: “Oh, my God, kill me. We’re having a girl!”

Lorenzo, to be honest, appears rather unimpressed by the whole affair until he gets his hands on one of the balloons.

“I don’t know how I feel about it. I’m terrified, but we’re really, really excited,” she says.

The diminutive “Baby Bumps” author, who’s due this fall, told Life & Style last month that she wasn’t ready to have “a miniature me.”

“I don’t need a diva telling me what to do,” she said. “I’m not ready for that.”

But it’s exciting news for BFF and “Snooki & JWoww” costar Jenni Farley. She’s pregnant with her first child, which also happens to be a baby girl.

The formerly hard-partying Polizzi changed her ways before welcoming her son in August 2012. She and LaValle have been engaged since March 2012 and are currently living in his parents’ basement. They plan to tie the knot later this year.

After her second-baby news broke back in April, Polizzi vented about the news leak.

“Jionni and I are so excited to confirm that we are expecting our second child! Now knowing that our test results are good and our baby is healthy, we can finally talk about it!” she wrote in a lengthy blog post.

“Unfortunately, like my first pregnancy, I decided to tell a select few people that we were expecting before the 3rd month mark, and it got leaked to certain media outlets. Again, it has happened with my second. I just want to say HOW THRILLED we are on expecting our second child and we couldn’t be any happier. But what sucks is how it’s never our business to tell anymore. It’s always certain media that decide to tell our wonderful news BEFORE we are ready,” she said.
